Мрамор started in 2015 in Ulan-Ude with the aim of playing depressive music. The backbone of the band consisted of vocalist kingpest, bassist Belka and guitarist Vital, and a little later drummer Sokol joined the band. With this composition, the band began to actively rehearse and give concerts in their city. In 2016, the band released two completely dissimilar EP's "Удушье" and "Холод", and in 2017 the band's first album "9 Дней" was released, released on CD through the joint efforts of More Hate Productions and Narcoleptica Productions. The album was warmly received by the public, and the band's style at that time could be described as an original mix of DSBM and post-black. After the release of the first album, kingpest moved to Novosibirsk and the band continued their work remotely. In 2018, the EP "Путь" was released, which showed listeners a new facet of the band's creativity, and in 2020 the band released their second album "Мортофилия", which continued the line of the band's first full-length album. Then there was a lull, which was interrupted only in 2023, when the band began to actively give concerts in Novosibirsk and neighboring Barnaul, Tomsk and Krasnoyarsk. In May 2023, the new EP "Эпитафия" was released. By this time, the group consisted of seven people, five of whom were the live members of the group, and two more were the original members of Vital and Belka, who continue to participate in the life of the group remotely. In 2024, the band is releasing a new album ‘Ритуалы эксгумации’, which many have already recognized as the best in their discography. The group will cease to exist in 2025 and transforming into the brand new project Помин.
